The laboratory of Qufu TEMB AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICCO.,LTD. was established in 2008, covering an area of 1,700 square meters. It is divided into two areas: the reliability test area and the acoustic test area. It is equipped with more than 80 sets of advanced testing equipment and instruments such as Klippel, ice water impact device, comprehensive vibration table, four-quadrant power supply voltage change simulator, xenon lamp test chamber, etc.

After over a decade of growth, it has specialized in testing automotive speakers, AVAS, buzzers, electric horns, switches, and spring products. In 2020, it was recognized as the Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Speakers and Spring Elastic Components by the Jining Development and Reform Commission.


The Experimental Center features multiple functional zones, including material, mechanical, and acoustic labs. It conducts type tests and R&D for electric horns, speakers, springs, etc., and performs various tests like material property detection, environmental simulations, and durability checks. Testing standards comply with national, industry, German, Japanese, and major automaker requirements.

Voice Coil

Qufu Temb Automotive Electric Co., Ltd. has set up 6 voice coil production lines in the loudspeaker workshop. These production lines have a high degree of compatibility and customization capabilities for the company's loudspeaker products, which can fully meet the usage requirements of the voice coils of our company's loudspeakers.


The voice coil on the production line is a coil through which the loudspeaker conducts current. It is an important part of the mechanical wave system of an electrodynamic loudspeaker and can be regarded as the heart of the loudspeaker. The performance of the voice coil will affect the sound intensity characteristics, sound intensity level, impedance curve, distortion, transient characteristics, loudspeaker parameters, sound quality, etc. of the loudspeaker, and is especially related to the power handling capacity and lifespan of the loudspeaker.


Just like the fatal factors of heart diseases, the damage to a loudspeaker often starts from the voice coil. All the voice coils of the loudspeakers of our company are self-made. Currently, they cover various sizes ranging from 13 cores to 68 cores, and there are types with and without connecting wires. The winding methods range from single-layer winding to 8-layer winding, which can meet the voice coil matching needs of various in-vehicle loudspeakers.

In the production of AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System), a crucial component, the loudspeaker, is independently developed and manufactured by our company. Additionally, the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) used in AVAS products is also self - developed and designed by us. Utilizing our own products in AVAS production brings several distinct advantages. Firstly, it allows for seamless integration of components. Since both the loudspeaker and PCBA are developed in - house, they are designed to work in perfect harmony from the start. This ensures optimal performance and compatibility, minimizing the risk of issues that could arise from using components sourced from different manufacturers. Secondly, it provides greater control over the supply chain. We can respond more swiftly to production demands, reducing lead times and potential disruptions. In - house production also enables us to maintain strict quality control at every stage, ensuring that each AVAS product meets our high - standard specifications.


In AVAS, the PCBA boards use products manufactured by ourselves. We have a high-standard SMT workshop, equipped with three automatic production lines and staffed by 15 workers. During the SMT production process, the MES traceability system can trace the entire production process, accurately track the production time of each component, and has an error prevention function, eliminating batch quality problems caused by human errors.


The SPI solder paste inspection machine is manufactured by TR7700, a globally leading brand. It can conduct 100% inspection of all solder joints through 3D technology, comprehensively checking the area, volume, and offset of the printed solder paste to ensure the quality of subsequent chip mounting. The 3D AOI inspection can comprehensively detect the soldering quality after chip mounting is completed, including the soldering quality of the chip pins from a top view, ensuring the soldering quality of the finished products.


All the equipment in the workshop is automotive-grade production equipment. The environment is kept at a constant temperature and humidity, and the cleanliness and anti-static level both meet the production conditions of automotive specifications. The warehousing environment can automatically adjust the temperature and humidity. Connected to the MES system through intelligent illuminated shelves, it can achieve multiple functions such as accurate material receiving and issuing, error prevention, and first-in, first-out. The fully automatic coating and dispensing production line has the function of automatic board flipping and can perform multiple operations on the PCBA, such as coating with three-proof paint and dispensing fixing glue.

Horn Echo Board

Qufu TEMB Automotive Electric Co., Ltd is capable of independently manufacturing horn echo boards and owns an automatic diaphragm forming machine. The introduction of this machine has further improved production efficiency and product consistency. It can operate 24 hours a day with only 1 to 2 personnel in charge. Compared with traditional production methods, it significantly increases output within the same period while ensuring more stable quality, providing strong support for the company's competitiveness in the automotive electroacoustics market.

 

Leveraging its technical accumulation in the automotive electroacoustics field, the company independently researches, develops and produces horn echo boards. By controlling product quality from the source, it ensures the matching accuracy between echo boards and other electroacoustic components, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the horns

In terms of design and development, the company utilizes a comprehensive set of tooling, including UG, Solidworks, CATIA, ProE, CAXA for design and CAE for engineering analysis. For mechanical analysis, it employs COMSOL. The magnetic circuit simulation is carried out using FEM/FINEMOTOR, and the acoustic simulation uses FINECONE/COMSOL.
