Qufu TEMB Automotive Electric's New Factory Project Progress Update

Jun 30, 2025

The first phase of the project has currently entered the foundational raft slab and concrete pouring stage, with approximately 28% of the overall construction completed. According to Project Manager Kong Xiangfeng, the main structure of Phase I is expected to be delivered by May this year.

As a key provincial and municipal construction project, Qufu TEMB Automotive Electric's Intelligent Electroacoustic Products R&D and Manufacturing Facility officially commenced construction in early January 2025. The project is designed with an annual production capacity of 50 million sets of intelligent electroacoustic products. Upon completion, it will add over 40 automated production lines manufacturing various products including internal/external magnetic speakers, high/low-frequency electric horns, and electric vehicle low-speed warning systems.

With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle market, demand remains strong for TEMB's EV low-speed warning systems. Office Director Yang Chunhai reported that despite adding two new production lines this year, the product still faces supply shortages. Currently holding over 40% domestic market share (ranking top three in the industry), the production lines for these warning systems will expand from the current 10 to 16 after project completion. Phase I operations are expected to achieve an annual output of 30 million automotive acoustic components, with significantly improved automation and intelligence levels boosting overall production efficiency by 20-30%.

Notably, the new factory plans to construct a nearly 2,000-square-meter testing center on the first floor, equipped with advanced experimental and testing instruments capable of conducting various evaluations including material properties, mechanical performance, electrical characteristics, acoustic spectrum analysis, sound quality assessment, vehicle sound tuning, and durability testing. This center will fully comply with national standards, industry requirements, and OEM technical specifications, establishing itself as a professional testing laboratory for automotive electroacoustic products and spring components.

In recent years, TEMB has continued to deepen its expertise in the new energy vehicle sector, focusing on R&D innovation in automotive electroacoustic products while continuously enhancing product design, testing, and experimental capabilities to inject new momentum into industry development. Upon full operation, the project is expected to generate 600 million yuan in additional annual sales revenue, 110 million yuan in new tax revenue, and create over 300 jobs. It will also cultivate numerous technical professionals, significantly improve corporate R&D capabilities, achieve both economic and social benefits, and provide strong support for the sustainable development of Qufu's "Automotive Electronics Industry Cluster."
